UK Folk Music artists

Folk music artists and bands

Folk Music Artists have always been supported by the FolkRise website in various ways.

Our FolkRise folk show was all about promoting ‘lesser known artists’ who had sent their songs and tunes to us on Soundcloud. There is amazing quality and variety of the songwriting talent and and include in the folk show.

The Folk Music Artists index is being added to on a daily basis. Please get in touch if you want to be included or have a directory page.

Serious Kitchen folk music artistsAlbum reviews by Pete Fyfe featured heavily. Pete was an established folkie himself and his reviews were knowledgeable and full of humour. This is something which we might be able to re-introduce on this new website.

As the website becomes well established and high in search engine rankings, we will be able to offer another great service.

Folk Music Artists

It’s our aim to be able to offer some sort of ‘Folk Music Artists’ directory pages for a reasonable annual fee.

We know that people have their own websites but they haven’t had ‘Search Engine Optimisation’ carried out. What’s that I hear you say…..

Basically most artists websites are fine, if people already know the name of the artist or band. Type the correct name into Google and up comes the website.
However if you just type something like ‘melodeon player East Anglia’ it’s unlikely the artists page will be found.

Because we have Optimised the FolkRise website,  Search Engines easily find us.

Our visitors usually browse through FolkRise and check out what’s on offer, so that could include your directory page. Sort of a ‘Yellow Pages’ for the folk scene.

If you would like to be included in our list or inquire about a page please get in touch.
Visit our CONTACT PAGE and fill out the form and we will try to get back to you asap.

Where is the best place in my area to see folk music I hear toy ask, check out our Folk Clubs page for more information.
